Every plan runs on the same credits. These are rough costs; the exact amount depends on the model and the size of the task, and the editor shows what each turn used.

Pricing questions
Is Rosebud AI free?
Yes. The Free plan starts you with 8,000 credits and no credit card, and in eligible regions those credits refill every week. You can create, play, remix and share games, and upgrade whenever you need more credits or features.
Which plan should I choose?
We recommend starting with Pro. It has the best value per credit, includes code download and Windows export, and covers most projects. Choose Indie Dev or 10x Dev for a smaller budget, or Scale for heavy AI use.
What is a credit?
Credits pay for AI work. Each build or edit turn, generated image, sound, music track or skybox uses credits. The cost depends on the model and how much work the task needs, and the editor shows what each turn used.
What happens when I run out of credits?
On the Free plan, credits refill every week in eligible regions. Paid plans also get daily refresh credits: they reset at midnight PT and are used first, up to a limit for each billing period. If you still run out, buy a credit top-up from My Plan or upgrade to a plan with more monthly credits.
Do credits expire or roll over?
Unused monthly credits on paid plans roll over once to the next month and then expire, as long as your subscription is active. Daily refresh credits on paid plans and weekly Free plan credits are grants: unused ones expire at the next reset and do not stack.
Can I sell the games I make?
Yes. 10x Dev and higher plans include full commercial rights, so you can sell your games and assets and publish them on any platform. Rosebud takes no commission on your earnings.
Can I download my code or export to Windows and Steam?
Pro and higher plans let you download your project code and export a Windows build you can publish on Steam. Indie Dev and higher plans can view and edit code in the browser.
Can I keep my projects private?
Yes. Indie Dev and higher plans let you make projects private and turn off remixing.
Can I remove the Rosebud branding?
Yes. 10x Dev and higher plans host your games without Rosebud branding.
Can I cancel or change my plan?
Yes, at any time from My Plan. If you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the billing period, and you keep your games and links on the Free plan.
How do I use a promo code?
Enter your promo code on the checkout page before you complete your purchase.
Is there a referral program?
Yes, for subscribers. With an active paid plan you can refer friends: they get $10 off and you earn $10 for each friend who subscribes, for up to five friends. Open My Plan to get your referral code and see the details.
